One month after surgery, when I was feeling extremely anxious, they showed me photos of cases where the nasal septum had been removed and reassured me that recovery was sufficiently possible, so I shouldn’t worry. Even if I didn’t have surgery here, they said I should definitely wait 6 months, and not go to places that say things like you’ll be in big trouble if you don’t rush to another hospital and remove it quickly before then. Looking at the surgery case photos, I felt very reassured seeing the tip of the nose naturally return, but when they said they absolutely never use silicone for the nasal tip and instead use dermis or autologous costal cartilage... I probably won’t have the surgery here.
