I had it done about 10 years ago, and I've been stressed about my eyes for the past 10 years. You could say they were the kind of eyes that might have been okay to live with, but every time I took a photo, I saw my left eye looking like a sausage and my right eye looking crooked, and I felt like my eyes were a failure. Unless you look in the mirror or at photos, you don't know how you look, so I just kept living, but to be honest, to everyone around me it was obviously the eyes of someone who had had double eyelid surgery. I was busy living my life and not a very sensitive person, so even though I had complaints, I just accepted it and kept going, but once I realized 10 years had passed, I decided I needed to do something about it, which is why I joined this community. It's not like the swelling is insanely thick sausage-like tissue or the scars are severe... but as I got older, I realized the doctor must not have had much skill. Personally, I hope anyone getting their first surgery really checks the hospital carefully and looks up reviews in detail before going ahead. I regret it for the rest of my life.....
