A place where I have doubts about the hospital system and the expertise of the medical staff. I am leaving another review to share information. I had thigh liposuction for the purpose of breast fat grafting, and a complication developed. My thighs became sunken and wrinkled, so the line under my buttocks became four lines.
This hospital has three follow-up visits total: the day after surgery, at 2 weeks, and at 3 months. But at all three visits, you cannot see a doctor. They just call the patient in to take before-and-after photos. I asked for a doctor consultation several times while complaining about the complication, but they would not even make an appointment. When I asked when I would ever be able to see the doctor, they said I would have to wait more than 3 months, so I insisted on getting an appointment to meet them.
I came on the appointment day, but they suddenly told me the director had a full schedule today and canceled unilaterally. I had blocked off an entire day and had to come and go for this...? Then they said they would ask the director when he was in a good mood. If a patient is complaining about a complication, should they not check it as quickly as possible? I was so upset while talking that I cried. A doctor passed by, saw the patient crying, and then 'by chance' gave a follow-up exam.
After looking at it, he said that area is supposed to look sunken anyway (it was not sunken at all before surgery), or maybe it was because I lost weight (I had actually gained weight), and said that injecting a little into the sunken area would fix it. At another clinic, I was told, 'A fairly large amount was suctioned from one area, so that is why it is sunken, and one round of fat grafting alone will not improve it.' Usually when you see reviews about treating indentations, a second round is almost essential. I asked whether you would need at least a second fat grafting to recover it, and they said body filler would be enough. They said there is no problem with filler in the thigh.
Even if you inject only a tiny amount into the face, filler can flow and move around, so they are saying there is no problem even if a large amount is injected into the thigh... They made it sound like it was no big deal, and the doctor just disappeared. The director said body filler lasts a long time~, and I was so dumbfounded I lost my words. Do they even know anything about reconstructive surgery or treating indentations? During the consultation they said this was a hospital that does a lot of revision surgery too... It is a place that does not even check when surgery goes wrong and handles it in a bizarre way.
