2015, non-incisional eye-opening correction + buried sutures, without sleep, partial anesthesia. The amount charged was separate, including the blood draw fee... Even though I did not have a canthoplasty, it still felt absurdly expensive. I visited through a friend's recommendation and went with two people, but among the places I had consulted, it was the most expensive at that time. More than 5 years after the surgery, the buried-suture scar on one eye has still not disappeared. It is a raised lump at the spot where the stitches were tied. Someone who came with me and had the same buried-suture surgery with the same head surgeon also had the same type of scar for years, plus severe asymmetry in the line and very uneven eyelids... The swelling lasted a long time, and I was told it would improve with time, but more than 5 years later I am still just living with uneven eyelids. The hospital was clean, and even though the chief surgeon was the top doctor, the price was not cheap compared with other hospitals. Still, I chose it, and it was not a very good choice.
