I’m the cautious type with anything I do, so after deciding to get double eyelid surgery this time, I started seriously planning and going around for consultations. There wasn’t a lot of information, so I visited hospitals whose names overlapped across various places. To write down the hospitals that felt a bit questionable: ㄷㄹㅅ, ㅇㄷㅍ, ㄴㄴ At ㄷㄹㅅ, they mentioned all kinds of surgeries that other places said I didn’t need, and they said eyes that could be done with a buried-suture method could only be done with an incision. Both the consultant and the doctor seemed to have a tendency to see me as someone who didn’t know anything. At ㅇㄷㅍ and ㄴㄴ, the consultation process didn’t go smoothly, and the consultants dragged out the waiting time too much. It may have been because I went when they were busy, but they didn’t even tell me exactly how long I needed to wait. And when I say waiting time here, I’m not talking about just a little over an hour.. I had made an appointment and it was still like that.. I felt that being kind and being good at work are separate things.
