This is the place where I had my first cosmetic surgery four years ago, thanks to a friend’s recommendation. At first I had an epicanthoplasty + buried double eyelid + nose surgery, and one year later my double eyelid became almost like an inner fold, so when I went back they said my skin had sagged and that I needed upper blepharoplasty. I fell for the line that older people do that a lot because their skin sags, and that if I did it early I wouldn’t need it later, so I ended up getting the upper blepharoplasty too. After that, a double fold kept appearing in my left eye and it opened less, so I went back again and they said it had loosened and did A/S. But a few months later it came back, so I went again, and they did A/S again..............I’ve had it done three times on the left eye and twice on the right eye here lol As a result, right now I have a double fold on the left eye + it opens less / on the right eye I have conjunctival exposure? eyelash eversion + trichiasis, and these days I’m going around looking for a revision surgery. Also, the double eyelids on both sides are uneven (at another hospital they told me one side is 7 mm and the other is 8 mm, so the 1 mm difference is visible even to the naked eye) For reference, the director here did keep doing the A/S properly, but it seems the problems everyone knows about just aren’t visible to him. Every revision clinic I go to looks at my surgery record and sighs or says things like, "upper blepharoplasty at such a young age?" and so on. I don’t know how much skin was removed during the upper blepharoplasty, but because there’s no extra skin left, it looks like I won’t even be able to get the line I want while paying for an expensive revision.
One more thing came to mind, so I’ll add it. At the time of the double eyelid surgery, the lashes on my right eye were pointing downward and stabbing my eye, so the director asked whether he should cauterize them. I naturally thought he meant one or two strands, so I said okay. But the result was that it ended up looking hollow, as if a whole clump had been removed. When I asked at the counter whether it wouldn’t grow back, they mentioned a disability in a loud, angry voice in front of everyone. In an instant I was treated like a disabled person, and I felt terrible. I don’t know if the manager remembers. In my life, nothing has been more regretful than that moment. I have to live with hollow lashes for the rest of my life. If I had known they would make it like this, who would have asked them to do it? What on earth was the director thinking;;
For reference, the nose is so~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ natural that people don’t even know I had surgery (Gore-Tex sinks over time). They said the epicanthoplasty shows quite a bit of lacrimal lake compared with another hospital, but I think it doesn’t really need to be touched.
My eyes are so disgusting right now, but I’m posting this with some courage so that anyone considering surgery here can use it as a reference.
