I had a consultation about upper canthoplasty, dual canthoplasty, and ptosis correction all at once, but honestly, so much information came in at once that it was harder to organize. I first wanted to know how necessary each procedure was for my eyes, but the consultation seemed to steer toward “the effect is better if you do them together.” They did test my eyelid-opening strength, but it was not lengthy, and they did not clearly explain the criteria for whether ptosis correction was truly necessary. They did not discuss realistic issues in depth, such as how overcorrection could look unnatural or where scars might be located, so that concerned me.
