It has been a little over two months since my rhinoplasty. Around eight weeks after surgery, the area of the bridge with silicone became red and then repeatedly settled down. I was startled, so I immediately contacted the surgical hospital, had a CT scan and examination, and was told there were no signs of inflammation. They prescribed antibiotics for three days just in case. After taking them, the redness did not recur, so I was doing fine, but suddenly today, a little over two months after surgery, the tip of my nose became red again. It was red for about one or two hours and then settled, but I was scared and went straight to the hospital for another CT. Again, they said there was no problem on the CT.
However, severe redness after surgery is not a common symptom, and since it has been two months, I’m anxious about it continuing to happen. I want to be examined at another hospital. Does anyone know a hospital that evaluates symptoms like this..? Or has anyone here had similar symptoms???
Recently I caught a cold during the change of seasons and also visited an ENT clinic. They said my sinusitis was severe, and I have been taking antibiotics for more than a week. That ENT doctor also performed a nasal endoscopy. In this situation, I want to know whether this is inflammation, why my nose keeps turning red, and whether my nose is truly okay. Please tell me of a plastic surgery hospital that will provide an examination, not a consultation for surgery. Are there hospitals that see patients for evaluation? Usually, when a problem occurs, you should go to the hospital that performed the surgery, but they keep saying nothing is wrong, so I can’t trust them I’m so anxious I can’t even manage daily life..
