Zenis Community Review

It is the biggest hospital in Ulsan, and my relatives have been going there for a very long time, so I went too (Dec 2024) Because it was rhinitis + cosmetic surgery, the rhinitis part was covered by insurance, and I got a cosmetic estimate of 1.6 million won (no implant). If silicone were used, they said it would be 2.2 million. The coordinator was kind and explained the insurance claim process in detail. They said getting a CT scan would make the insurance reimbursement more stable, so I went to a partner hospital and got one. That partner hospital is also old and well-known in Ulsan. Looking at older reviews here, there were quite a few saying they would not consult with the doctor, but I was able to look at my nose together with the chief surgeon, who explained the problems and how to improve them. If it had been only a consultation with the coordinator like in those older reviews, I would not have even made a tentative reservation. Because I already had a nasal bridge and this was my first surgery, they said we should try using the septum, and if the harvested tissue was too curved, then use ear cartilage. They said rib cartilage is used only for revision surgery. They explained things very well and easily for a long time, more than I expected. Right after I checked in, they also took facial photos, and the coordinator explained well about the surgeon’s schedule, whether an implant would be used, and insurance reimbursement (without acting like a doctor). However, if I made the tentative reservation that same day, they said I would get about a 700,000 won discount, so I did it (a little tempting).. In the end it is fixed by the consultation fee, and I can cancel anyway. I had a bias against large hospitals, but I feel they are much more systematic than private clinics. I do worry a little about proxy surgery, but I decided to trust them and have the surgery here. What was funny was that the coordinator said she had also had her nose done here and asked me to feel it, saying, "Isn’t it so natural?" lol But it really did feel natural, so I was surprised.. Believe it or not.
