I wasn't interested in cosmetic surgery when I was younger, but when I was in high school, a friend and a teacher asked why I opened my eyes in a way that made wrinkles on my forehead, and that's when I realized I had ptosis. So I got incisional double-eyelid surgery and an epicanthoplasty at a plastic surgery clinic affiliated with my dad's company. Honestly, my eyes are bigger than before and it's easier to open them, so I am glad. Also, the doctor kindly explained ptosis to me and talked a lot during the surgery, so it was pretty fun lol. While operating, he said the reason there was less bleeding was that he used a laser to cut and at the same time cauterized it by burning for a moment lol. If I had to point out something disappointing, there is some scar from the epicanthoplasty, and the doctor said that the right eye had weaker opening strength and he corrected that side more strongly, so maybe because of that, it feels a little overcorrected compared with the left eye. Still, I had sunken eyes and a lot of fat in my eyes, so it was a difficult case (I only later found out it was a difficult case lol), but for now I am satisfied with this level.
