1 month review

It has been 1 month since my full removal after being dissatisfied with the shape and feeling pressure and a foreign-body sensation after my first surgery. Normally people seem to start going out without a mask from around 2 or 3 weeks, but my swelling along the sides of the bridge is still very severe. My nose is broad, so I still cannot take off my mask. I went ahead because they said full removal was possible, but maybe because there was a lot of tip work, the tip looks completely different from my original nose. The hospital said swelling goes down, but the tip takes at least 3 months, yet even now I still look like a tangerine or a hallabong orange, so my nose bridge still has a step and I look like a real hooked nose. I wonder if this will go down. The nostril shape is normal, but it also seems slightly lifted. I still do not know whether this is the contraction phase or not. When the splint came off, it was my own nostrils, but they lifted a little. I do not know whether they will come back down or not, though it does not bother me that much. Nose surgery is the thing I regret most in my life T_T Even after 1 month I still keep looking in the mirror and having a hard time. Everyone else had successful removal, and I am the only one seeing a few side effects.. I even developed a horizontal line below the bridge, and when I touch it, the skin there feels sunken or empty. I think that line might go away only if it sticks back down, but will it really stick back? T_T It is frustrating. Still, being freed from all the pain I wrote about in the first line, being freed from the future side effects like inflammation or contracture, and having my nose bridge back to one I can at least wear a mask over, makes me feel relieved. Before, the silicone went in from between the eyebrows, so even with a mask on I looked like Pinocchio. It is not the finished result yet, so I am waiting and praying for my original nose shape to come back. For everyone, removal does not mean you will 100% return to your original nose, so do not expect too much. Especially people who had a lot of tip work will probably have a hard time like me. Still, once removal is done, each day passes from the moment of surgery. If you are hesitating, be brave~~~ I will write a 2 month review later
