When I was 18, I had double eyelid surgery for 1 million won at a hospital in Apgujeong that I just found roughly, but it went right back to being an inner double eyelid, so I lived with it as if it had all been for nothing. Everyone around me said I didn’t need double eyelids, and that if I got them, I’d lose my charm. There were nothing but people who totally~~~ advised against it, so I lived without doing it. Then at some point when I was 25, I suddenly thought I should do it and went for a consultation. I really liked how the director at PR looked at everything in detail with such a gentle, fatherly smile, and the consultant also had a very friendly personality. I also felt like they shaped the line I wanted the best. Since I went from an inner double eyelid to a semi-out line, it did take over 2 years for even the residual swelling to fully go down, but now, 5 years later, I’m completely satisfied with the line I wanted. If I had to pick a downside, before double eyelid surgery I could go around without wearing contacts, but after surgery, because of the sanpaku eyes, if I don’t wear contacts my eyes look too dull and lifeless, so contacts became a must. And I get eye discharge so easily... haha
