I had open rhinoplasty with a 5 mm silicone implant for the nasal bridge + nasal tip (septal cartilage and ear cartilage) + hump correction + functional nose surgery. It itches like crazy.. Everything else is fine, but when I touch the columella, it feels itchy inside my nose? It also feels like bugs are crawling, and even when I stroke downward from the nasal bridge with my hand, the columella area and nasal tip itch like crazy There’s no heat at all and no redness, but what’s certain is that I really like my current dramatic-looking nose. But I’m scared that inflammation might develop and lead to contracture I was so scared that I even asked my mom and dad whether our family genes have good immunity My mom says my aunt also had nose surgery three times (revision surgeries because she didn’t like the results), and seeing how she’s been fine for over 15 years without inflammation, I’ll probably be okay too, but I’m seriously freaking out I am satisfied, but I guess I’ll just live with a pretty face for a while, and if inflammation or side effects happen, I’ll have it removed.
