My boyfriend is not particularly overweight, but whenever he took photos, the area under his chin always looked especially thick. His front view was fine, but in profile or when he lowered his head even a little, his jawline immediately seemed to disappear. He kept worrying about it, so he had facial liposuction, muscle plication, and deep fat removal together.
It is exactly two weeks now. Right after surgery, there was swelling and he had to wear a compression band, so it actually looked even more swollen lol. During the first week, there was also some bruising, and the area under his chin felt firm and lumpy to the touch, so he kept looking in the mirror wondering whether he should not have done it T_T
But once he reached the two-week mark, it definitely changed a little. There is still swelling, but it no longer has as much of that rounded look continuing from the tip of the chin to the neck as before, and the boundary between the chin and neck is gradually starting to show. I think I, who see him every day, notice the change first lol.
It is probably not the final result yet, but it has become more natural than during the first week, and his profile also seems to be gradually becoming more defined. I am curious what it will be like once more swelling goes down haha. I am starting to deliberate whether I should try it too T_T
