Today I tried going around for my first consultations. I'm bad at writing posts like this since it's my first time, so please understand. I'm from the provinces and wanted to finish everything in one day, so I forced myself to visit 6 places. First of all, I have a slight aquiline bump and still had a little filler left on the bridge of my nose. The tip droops, my alae are plump, and the tip is plump too... like this kind of nose? So I prefer a slim, elegant line and showed them O Yeon-seo and Karina's noses. I don't like noses that are too sharp and pointy, so please keep that in mind while reading.
1. ㅇㄴㅂ/Dr. Cha (Sinsa Station) This was my first clinic, so I went in knowing absolutely nothing. I couldn't even ask questions properly and came out a bit lost. They took a CT scan, took photos, printed them out, and drew on them there. The doctor seemed to prefer a natural look. He was kind and sweet. He wanted to do it safely. The manager was kind too and worried about me, saying it must have been tiring coming from far away in the morning. I've always thought my midface was long, but he said because of the aquiline bump, my bridge looked hollow, so it gave the impression of a long nose. He said that even with the bump, my nose is on the small side, the bone isn't thick, the skin is thin, and the septum is generous.

2. ㅇㅌ/Dr. Baek I filled out the form with almost no waiting and went straight into the consultation. They didn't do CT, and the doctor just took photos on an iPad and showed them to me. I was a bit like, huh? at that point, but I just went ahead with the consultation. He said: donated rib, nose bone osteotomy, aquiline bump osteotomy, alar reduction, bulbous nose correction, and cartilage suturing. He said my nose was big and high and that my skin was thin. He said he could raise it as much as I wanted, and he seemed to prefer a glamorous look. He recommended trimming the drooping alae and bringing the columella forward for a straight-to-slightly-straight line. He showed me a drawing, but it looked too high and wasn't the feeling I wanted, so I passed.

3. ㅇㅍ/Dr. Hong The previous appointment ended too quickly, so although my reservation was for 12:30, I arrived at 12:00, waited about 15 minutes, and then they took the CT first. The consultation started at 12:20. He put my photos into a tablet and explained while drawing on them. He said my skin is thin, my alae are plump, and my nose is a high-bridge type. He said the aquiline bump doesn't need osteotomy and only needs smoothing. He said if they use silicone, it would be 3 to 3.5 mm, but if they open it and see there's basically no difference, they'd use 4 mm. He said my septum is generous, so there is no need to use rib, and they can use ear cartilage instead. He said it's a pretty good nose that doesn't need a lot of surgical work, and that we should just do alar reduction, cartilage suturing, and aquiline bump smoothing. The doctor seemed busy and talked extremely fast. The manager organized everything and explained it slowly. She had good sense and was kind.

4. ㅁㅇㄷ/Dr. Lee I was about 5 minutes late, so I waited a bit and then got a CT scan (10,000 won). After consulting with the manager, I waited 20-30 minutes for the doctor consultation. I was about to leave because I had another appointment, but they said I could be seen within 5 minutes, so I waited a total of about 35 minutes. It was the clinic with the most patients out of all the ones I visited. He explained by drawing on the computer. He said my septum is generous and the bridge is already high, so he recommended no implant material. He said: aquiline bump osteotomy, nasal bone osteotomy, tip correction, septum, ear cartilage. He was the only one who correctly noticed my rhinitis. He strongly opposed raising the bridge, saying the starting point and height are already pretty and there was no need to touch them. The manager also opposed raising the bridge, saying I'd end up looking like an avatar.

5. ㅇㄹ/solo-doctor clinic (Apgujeong Station) This one was booked because it was recommended to me, and it's a clinic that uses autologous dermis. It was hard to find the way there. The clinic had an old-school hospital feel and there were about two or three people waiting. I told them that if they were going to raise the bridge, I wanted silicone, but the doctor gave a lecture about autologous dermis, so I just listened with one ear and let it out the other.. The manager was amazing. Of course other clinics may be like this too, but this was the first place where the doctor was praised this much.. something like “our doctor is the best, the best, the best”? They kept asking if I still wanted silicone, saying price is not the important thing and that I should think about what is better for the future. They showed me awards and newspaper articles and said our doctor is an amazing person, and the tone was like, “the skill speaks for itself, right?” so I just nodded and kept thinking back to the consultation at the previous clinic.

6. ㅈㅅㅌ/Dr. Choi (Apgujeong) No CT x, no photos x, consultation fee 10,000 won First of all, the building is incredible. Out of all the clinics I went to today, the facilities were the best. I almost went straight in with hardly any waiting, and I'd looked up the doctor on YouTube a few times, so seeing him in person was fascinating. He had me look in the mirror and used cotton swabs to position the front and side views while explaining. He said if we dissolve the filler and the height looks okay, we should go without implant material, and if it seems a bit lacking, we should use silicone. He measured my eye length and alar length, then said my alae aren't actually that plump, so alar reduction isn't really recommended. But he also said the width of the nasal bone and the alae are similar, so if we smooth the aquiline bump first to make it sleek and then want to go without an implant, how about doing nasal bone osteotomy? If silicone is inserted, then no osteotomy; use septum and ear cartilage, he said. He said my nose is in pretty good condition, and it's the kind of nose that seems like surgery will go well. I put down a surgery deposit and picked a date from among these today. I was worried because I saw a lot of posts saying the managers were bad, but even though I went wearing slippers and a tracksuit because it was raining so heavily in my area, thankfully most of them were kind.
