Nine years ago, I had incisional double-eyelid surgery and ptosis correction. In photos, my left eye became a sausage eyelid and the crease on my right eye became too low, lol. This was not something I could cover with makeup, and it stressed me out every time I looked in the mirror, so I looked into revision surgery and visited five places in total. But apparently my eyes were not that easy to operate on. I thought they could just perform double-fold excision or excision on one side to remove the sausage-eyelid look, and simply raise the other side. Was what I wanted too difficult...? Four places spoke as though they could not guarantee success, T_T. But at the last place I consulted, the doctor examined the excess skin very carefully and said they did not really understand why the previous hospitals had said it was difficult. They explained that if it were done this way, it would turn out naturally. It did not seem like unfounded confidence; it seemed like confidence with real grounds, so I trusted them and had the surgery. They lowered the crease on the right eye (left in the photo) with double-fold excision, and raised the crease slightly on the left eye (right in the photo). They also performed medial epicanthoplasty and removed upper-eyelid fat, making my eyes look much more open and defined than before. There was some swelling early on, but the major swelling went down after a month, and now it has been two months. There is still a little residual swelling, but I think only about 10% remains. Now I do not feel stressed when I look in the mirror, and my appearance-related obsessive distress has improved a lot, so I am very relieved, T_T. + Oh, I had it done at [Clinic A] by [Doctor A]!
