The atmosphere was clean. The doctor said only what needed to be said and did not feel particularly kind; it felt mechanical. But the consultant seemed to be trying to establish dominance, and the tattoo on their arm looked too much like a delinquent-style tattoo, so I did not feel trust and did not choose the clinic. It was harder than expected to get an appointment, and there was also more waiting than expected once I got there. They took photos and did tell me how it might look, but they seemed rather tired, perhaps because they had just finished surgery. If only they were a little kinder
