❤️ Melon breast augmentation, week 2 review ❤️ It has already been two weeks since I had breast surgery at Melon! 🥹
I received Motiva implants, 275 cc on the left and 295 cc on the right. From before surgery, what mattered most to me was having breasts that were not too large, looked natural, and had a teardrop shape. Rather than breasts that obviously looked operated on at a glance, I wanted breasts that naturally suited my body frame, and I really love both the size and shape.. 🤍
Before surgery, I had almost no breast volume, so I used to hunch over for no reason. Now I can definitely feel that clothes fit differently. I am very satisfied because my overall silhouette looks prettier in clothes. It is only week two, so they have not fully settled yet, but I am already excited to see how they change going forward haha
The pain was much more manageable than I expected! Other than tightness and pain in my chest when I walked a lot commuting or got up after lying down, it was almost painless. I think it is because the surgeon did such a great job.. 🥹
The procedure was done through an inframammary fold incision, and the scar does not seem as noticeable as I expected! Since the tissue has not fully relaxed yet, the scar is somewhat visible from the front, but the inframammary fold position was adjusted naturally. Once my breasts drop a little more and settle later, I think it will be far less visible than it is now!!
My recovery was also faster than expected~ I had surgery on Friday and returned to work on Tuesday, and I was able to wash my hair by myself starting Tuesday. Of course, I feel tightness if I overdo it, so I am being careful in daily life. After consulting with the surgeon, I removed the upper band right away during week one!
What I liked most at Melon was how warm and kind both the surgeon and staff were.. In particular, on the night of surgery, I briefly felt very nauseated and like I was going to vomit, possibly because I had not received an IV infusion. They checked on me immediately and took action, for which I was very grateful. Before surgery as well, the surgeon listened to each part of my story and aligned well with what I wanted, so I felt reassured and able to trust them 🤍
It is only week two, so there is still some upper-pole fullness and the lower part feels firm. (I can feel that the upper area is gradually softening.) My tissues tend to be firm, so I think it may take a little time to settle haha (The cleavage has not come together yet either.)
They are not fully developed breasts yet, but I like the current size and am very satisfied because they seem to be progressing well toward the natural look I wanted 🥰 I am excited to see how much more natural they will look as the tissue softens and the shape settles! Compared with before surgery, having breasts has definitely changed how clothes feel on me, my confidence, and my overall vibe.
Before surgery, I deliberated for a long time and was very worried even right up until it, but now that I have done it, I am so satisfied that I truly think it was the right decision.. 🥹 In particular, I am really glad I had surgery with Dr. Kim Ju-won. I am looking forward to seeing how I change week by week and how much more natural it will become💕
