I was leaning strongly toward complete silicone removal, so I consulted here because it ranked highest among the three major places for nose implant removal (separate consultation fee: 10,000 won). The doctor answered every question I asked throughout the fairly lengthy consultation and showed me photos. They did not take photos separately. No other clinic had mentioned capsular contracture, but the doctor said my contracture was severe and that complete removal would be difficult; they said the nasal-tip support structure would need reinforcement with septal cartilage or ear cartilage. I saw several surgical-case photos, including many truly serious cases, and as the consultation went on, I became extremely depressed because it did not seem likely that I could finish with the complete removal I had hoped for. They said that if the mid-vault depression is severe, crushed cartilage may also need to be inserted T_T. Afterward, when discussing the estimate with the coordinator, they were not especially kind. As one comment said, it strongly felt like the doctor was carrying the whole place; he looked quite exhausted. When I asked about aftercare, he bluntly said, “Why would aftercare be needed for removal?” The price was also no different from the other clinics I had visited to learn revision-surgery pricing: 5.8 million won. I am even more lost now.
