Eye Surgery Reviews

Eye Contact community review

Photos, then consultation with the surgeon, then consultant. This was a revision after incisional ptosis correction with undercorrection on one side, so we decided to do the same incisional ptosis correction. I asked them to correct it as much as possible while still allowing my eyes to close. After surgery, the previously undercorrected eye was corrected so it opened much more easily, but the eye that had been fine became heavier. I lived thinking it might just be my imagination, but about half a year later the heavier eye loosened and became a multiple-fold double eyelid. As aftercare, only one side was stitched (sedation fee separate). About two months after the stitches, it loosened again. I just lived thinking it was fate, then had time and am now looking into revision surgery, sigh. The consultant and surgeon are both kind. They seem to operate conservatively, and I am trying to think positively that perhaps being conservative is better for a procedure like ptosis correction.
