It has been about a year and a half since I had two types of facial contouring surgery plus double-chin tying in January last year. So far, there are no side effects or skin sagging, and all sensation in my jaw has returned. What is disappointing is that because I have a long face, the surgery focused on reducing mandibular length. However, only a very small amount was shaved from the side jaw while the jaw length was reduced, so although it looks shorter, the side jaw looks a bit square. When my jaw was long originally, it did not look square at all and I had no angle below the ear, but as the mandibular length was reduced a lot, it appears that way proportionally. I really regret that these points were not considered to achieve balanced proportions.
