I had surgery at another hospital 10 years ago and developed contracture in my nose. It was done with silicone, and gradually my nasal tip turned up and contracture developed. I consulted several hospitals because of revision surgery and asked around a lot too. Among them, I heard that [Clinic A] handles autologous costal cartilage well and also performs philtrum reduction well, so I went there for an in-person consultation. It is well known in a neighboring online café that even celebrities get philtrum reduction here because there is no philtrum scar. Unlike other hospitals, they operate from inside the nose, so I decided because I thought being able to have philtrum reduction together during revision rhinoplasty was an advantage. Now the scar is invisible and clean. The rib cartilage scar is also healing well. I worried tremendously because of the contracture, but fortunately the surgery went well, and it is more natural and prettier than my previous nasal contour.
