My mom’s eyelids had always been quite droopy, but they got worse over the past few years. Her eyes looked heavy even at a glance, and she said the eyelid crease area kept becoming irritated and itchy. I thought we should get it checked before waiting any longer.
At the consultation, they said her drooping skin had partially obstructed her vision, likely causing discomfort. Since the functional discomfort seemed to be increasing, she had a brow lift and upper blepharoplasty together.
It has now been three months. Mom says her field of vision feels more comfortable, and she definitely feels less need to raise her eyes. In old photos, her eyebrows were raised as she tried to open her eyes properly, but now her eyes open even at rest. Maybe because of that, her expression looks much softer than before.
There may still be a little residual swelling, but it looks very natural. From my perspective, I’m satisfied for now.
