The day after the splint was removed was peak swelling, so I was very worried. I also had blood collected between my eyebrows and had it drained, so I was scared it would collect again the whole time... I tormented my husband and ChatGPT endlessly over things like blood collection between the eyebrows and inflammation. Fortunately, from the day before stitch removal (post-op day 6), the swelling gradually started to go down. Then after the stitches were removed, it suddenly went down dramatically!!! Since I tend to swell easily anyway, I have slept only sitting up continuously since the day of surgery. I barely recline, always wear a neck pillow, and have slept without ever putting my head on the floor. My meals have been bland, mainly seaweed soup, beef bone soup, eggs, and beef. But strangely, I have had such a big appetite that I keep wolfing down a bowl and a half;;
Since mine was closed surgery, there were no external or internal stitches to remove, only stitches inside my nose. I had once fainted from extreme tension in the lobby on the day of stitch removal after my first surgery, so I was terrified. But perhaps because I told the clinic about this in advance, they kept reassuring me and helped so that it truly did not hurt or feel scary. “You need to relax your body and help me, [Staff]. You are doing really well today~ It does not hurt, right? We are already done~” Like this lol
Swelling laser -> radiofrequency care -> another laser -> modeling mask -> ampoule care -> progress check by the doctor took a little over two hours. I felt so reassured when I was told that the inside of my nose was healing nicely, cleanly, and beautifully. Honestly, when they gave me the mask and ampoule care, I thought they had mistaken me for another client and provided it by accident, but they said it was indeed for me;;; They said they normally provide it all, so I was puzzled. I had never seen the care details in any review.
Now I only have my one-month and three-month follow-up visits left, and I do not think many people would be curious about those. Those were also the parts I was most curious about, so I do not think I will write any more reviews after this! From scheduling the surgery through the operation, I was emotionally exhausted and distressed for several months (I had booked ahead of time;;), but everyone here comforted and encouraged me so much, and detailed reviews helped me immensely. So I am also writing this detailed review with good intentions, haha. People say the contraction period is truly emotional hell, but because I was more anxious and afraid with a silicone implant in my nose... T_T I do not think a worse hell than that time will come. I want to take good care of my body and mind, recover well, and leave this community behind.
