I went after watching their blog and YouTube, and I understand why everyone says the doctor is like an eccentric professor. They seemed neither particularly kind nor unkind. They seem to have somewhat strong opinions, and that made me think it could be difficult to reach an agreement if a problem arose after surgery. This is beside the point, but when a doctor who takes pride in their skills does not listen well to patients' opinions, I think situations that become troublesome are more likely to occur.
Their surgical methods and rationale seemed very valid and reasonable, but I question whether it is right to pay about twice as much as other hospitals for surgery when the facility is like a neighborhood dermatology clinic and aftercare is lacking. Overall, the system does not seem well organized, and it seems one would ultimately have to decide based only on surgical skill… The consultation fee is an expensive 50,000 won, and the booking deposit is 10%.
