I finished going around for nose consultations and booked my surgery!

I finally finished going around for nose consultations. I had consultations with a total of 5 directors, and in the end I decided to do it at the hospital I went to for my very last consultation haha In total, I went to ㅋㅂㅈ, ㅊㄷㅊ, ㅈㅅㅌ, and ㅊㅇ, with two doctors there (Director B and Director C)! As expected, even at the last hospital, the consultation content was completely different They were the only ones who recommended alar reduction.. Still, if you ask why I decided on them, 1. Their explanation of the surgical method was the most specific! They usually use extension surgery there. But since I had studied up before going, I asked if the septal strut method would not work, and they explained why they use extension surgery, and said that if I wanted, they could also do it with the strut method. What did they say here... They said they do septal extension but do not fix it? So the nose can move relatively freely. Honestly, I was not taking notes while listening, so I do not remember what they said they do not fix.. I think it might have been the alar cartilage. And I think they said they do extension because they try to operate so that it does not deviate much from the structure of the nose. 2. They accurately identify my needs one more time At first, most places ask what kind of nose you want, right? But here, at the very end, they checked once more, wrote it down, wrote down the surgical method for it, and explained it to me again.. And they tried to reflect what I wanted as much as possible, whether it was the method or the shape. This is where I felt that maybe this is why you have to go to someone experienced and well known.. 3. Their confidence was amazing When I said, "I heard that if I get septal extension, the nose can become crooked or droop" (honestly this part really hit me, and I immediately thought this is the place), they said that not a single patient they had operated on had become crooked. Of course, no director would talk about crooked cases in that situation, but they answered without even hesitating for one second, so they felt so trustworthy.. When I looked at consultation reviews here, there were a lot of comments saying the director is a bit chic? curt? But not at all.. Rather, they were so kind and explained things well, so I really, really liked it Of course, the consultation is not everything, but I had a good feeling. My nose is a first surgery, but it is crooked and stuff, so it is a difficult nose.. So I deliberately looked into hospitals that do a lot of revision surgeries, which did limit my options quite a bit, but the consultation was really, really good, so I even booked the surgery. Honestly, even if I get septal extension, as long as there are no side effects, it is fine, so except for that one thing, I think everything else is okay. I will only know after surgery, but I have a really good feeling haha And is my nose difficult after all.. In the consultation reviews, I had definitely picked out a few hospitals that were expensive price-wise, but the other places were actually cheaper, and this place was the most expensive lol Even though it is my first surgery, it came out in the high 4 million won range. It cost more because it is the chief director, but if it had not been the chief director, the price would have been similar to the other hospitals. The others were around the low to mid 4 million won range.. My mindset was to get it done properly at a good place in one go regardless of a few hundred thousand won difference, so I just put down the deposit. Now I just have to wait for the surgery date! I do think going around for consultations is important, though it also gives you a headache.. I hope it goes well haha hoo
