Before/afterPreviously, I had lateral canthoplasty once at another hospital, but I was slightly dissatisfied with the result of the canthoplasty then. So, for a definite improvement, I decided to have revision surgery at this hospital~ During the week before the stitches were removed, my eyes were uncomfortable and the swelling was worse than I expected, so time really dragged.. I was worried because I heard stitch removal hurts a lot, but it did not hurt at all! I don’t think you need to worry about this part. Now that it has been a month, the swelling seems to have all gone down, but the redness at the outer corners of my eyes lasts a long time. Also, the degree of canthoplasty and the exposure of the eyeballs still look uneven for now, so I’ll have to keep watching that.. And my eyes definitely opened up more than I expected! When I had my first surgery, I was very satisfied at first, but they gradually closed back up, so I felt depressed. Since my eyes have definitely been widened, I think I really need to allow for a long recovery period.
