Botox is said to be a simple procedure, so I went in. A long time ago, another clinic had told me not to get Botox, but that was ages ago, and I wanted to decide after consulting with the doctor. The doctor said I could get Botox, so the procedure went ahead, but a few days later the hollowing in my cheeks became severe. I told the clinic, but they said it was one of the normal side effects and told me to wait. No matter how long I waited, my face kept looking odd, so I went to another clinic and was told that my face shape was not suitable for Botox in the first place. My face shape has now returned to normal, but I suffered mentally for nearly a year. Of course, the patient should have the best understanding of their own body, but if someone has little experience with procedures or little interest in them, it is true that they end up relying on the doctor’s opinion. I wish the specialist had properly judged from the start whether my face was suitable for Botox and then carried it out. Since then, I have become more cautious about looking into procedures, which is a kind of benefit(?), but when I think about the mental distress I went through over the past year, I do not recommend visiting this clinic for people who do not understand their own face well.
