여름의원 — Review

Up to now, I think I’ve had all kinds of procedures because of my facial concerns. I had a lot of fat on my face in particular, and the facial shape boundary, or maybe I should say the line, was blurry, so from the side it felt like my face and neck weren’t even separated. My nasolabial folds were also pretty deep. Because of that, I tended to look older than my actual age... It was really stressfulㅠㅠ I think that’s when it all started, all the different procedures I got! But the satisfaction only lasted briefly at the time I had them done, and seeing it go back to how it was made me sigh automatically... I wondered if I’d been working hard just to spend money like this......... Of course, part of it was because I didn’t take care of myself well........ but I also thought maybe it was because I hadn’t looked for a good place... I used to get treatments sometimes at a neighborhood dermatology clinic when I was tired..... When I talked about this to an acquaintance, they told me it might be better to switch to a dermatology clinic in the Gangnam area near my office.?! At first I wondered what difference it would make, but after looking up reviews here and there, the before-and-after effects looked so good and there were quite a few people who got the results they wanted....! So I narrowed my search to clinics in Seoul too, and figured I’d go to just one place first, so I visited. That place was Summer Clinic. When I first heard the name Summer Clinic, I thought the clinic name was pretty. It was located near Gangnam Station, so after getting off the subway it took maybe 5 minutes? It didn’t even take that long! Super super super close to the station! It was in such an easy location to visit. After taking the elevator up, the inside of the clinic was also really clean and pretty. I checked in and sat down to use my phone, then my name was called, and I went into the consultation room and talked with the manager. Like I wrote above, blurry line. Feeling like my face and neck weren’t separated, the overall skin/fat around the lower face, and so on, I rambled on about everything, and the manager empathized with me and listened. Then they recommended a procedure that would suit me, and it was Ulthera! I had thought I wanted to try Ulthera at least once, but I wasn’t sure whether it was right for my face right now, so I was worried. After the consultation, it was nice to know for sure that it was a suitable procedure for me. After the consultation I decided to go ahead with the treatment and paid. After washing my face and waiting a bit, I could get the procedure done, and in the treatment room, before starting, the doctor looked at my face once more and said they would take into account which areas needed treatment and my concerns, and I really liked how customized it felt! During the procedure, the doctor kept checking whether I was okay, whether anything was uncomfortable, whether it hurt, and so on, and I felt that their hands were skilled too because even while checking all that, they performed the procedure very carefully and meticulously. Thanks to that, I felt reassured and was able to receive it comfortably. Afterward they told me the precautions, I listened briefly, and then went home. I didn’t have any plans that day, so I went straight home! I heard the effect would show after about a month, so I kept commuting and watched the progress. As time passed, I could clearly feel my facial line becoming more refined. They say the timing of results can vary by person, but for me, around 3 weeks to a month in, the before-and-after difference in my face line was clearly visible, and I could feel more firmness too! Even though I didn’t say anything, people around me asked what I had done to my face, said I looked healthier, that my face looked slimmer, and that I looked prettier, which made me happy. That made me realize I really do need to research clinics carefully, and lately I’ve become interested in other procedures too, so I’ve been looking closely at the clinic’s procedure list. I’m so grateful to the clinic for giving me such good results!
