As expected from a place famous for long waits, I waited half a year for a consultation. I went in half suspicious, half hopeful, because I’d heard they just skim over things and the wait is long. Recent reviews made it seem like experiences vary by person. For me, there was only one other person at the clinic, and I waited a little under 10 minutes for the director. The consultation with the manager was fine, and I was surprised that the director looked at my case in more detail than I expected. After reading reviews, I had braced myself for a 3-minute cut-and-dry consultation, but it wasn’t like that. I was hoping for blunt, no-nonsense feedback, but he was more kind than I expected. He touched my nose from different angles and muttered to himself about how to do this here and that there, explaining a bit, and the conclusion felt like, “I’ll take care of it well for you.” lol The manager told me to bring reference photos by the surgery date, and since I wanted a certain degree of omakase when it came to the surgical plan, I left after putting down a deposit. It felt like, “Just bring photos showing how you want it, and we’ll handle the rest.” For materials, they suggested donor rib cartilage plus silicone for my first surgery, as expected. But I was there for both eyes and nose, and when I first gave my name at the front desk, they seemed to think I was only there for my nose lol. Once I said I was also doing my eyes, they immediately looked at both together.
