I had a revision surgery because the tip of my nose looked translucent and bent. I used donated costal cartilage. At first I was a bit reluctant, but I went ahead because autologous rib cartilage leaves a scar on the ribs too, and donated cartilage is used a lot as well. After the surgery it looked nicely straight and sharp, but since it was about 2 years ago, it has drooped a lot. It's a shame, but I guess that's because of time.
