I went for a double-eyelid consultation, and they said they would do only the local anesthesia briefly under twilight sedation for the local anesthetic part, and that I would be fully awake during the surgery. They designed an in-out line for me, and they stamped something on my eyes, which made me trust them more because they would do it according to that. They recommended partial incision, medial canthoplasty, and ptosis correction. I had a lot of questions, and they answered everything kindly. My eyelids are thin, but they said that if I do double eyelid surgery, medial canthoplasty, and ptosis correction, I wouldn’t need fat grafting. They also said that there might be a small scar from the medial canthoplasty, but not to the point that it would be noticeable, and that there wouldn’t be as much swelling as with a full incision. I recommend the consultation.
