I really wanted breast surgery in the summer, but honestly I thought I wouldn't be able to do it in summer conditions, so I went in winter just thinking I should at least get a consultation. The hospital was really big, and the operating room, consultation rooms, front desk, recovery room, etc. were all separated. Seeing that the surgery floor was separate made me think that, as expected for such a large hospital, the equipment and operating room scale for major surgery would be really well set up. But at the same time, it's so big and complicated that I felt that might be a downside, too...,,, I went at exactly the busiest time, so the director, front desk, and everyone else seemed busy, and there were a lot of people. But since I went during peak time, I naturally took that into account. I thought the staff consultation was just average. I already tend to think the person wielding the scalpel on the operating table is the surgeon, so I don't pay much attention to anything else. As long as they explain the basics well, that's fine with me. Then I had the actual consultation with the surgeon, and first of all, he was extremely polite? Gentle? Since the area is such a sensitive one, he definitely wasn't the type of doctor who jokes around like a friend. Rather, it felt like he kept proper boundaries and looked at me in a straightforward, gentle way. But in a way, that actually made it feel like he was looking at the surgery area itself rather than just looking at breasts, so at first I felt embarrassed without meaning to, but as time went on I relaxed and stopped thinking about it, so I was able to ask questions actively. I told him I wanted something natural like a teardrop shape, even if it didn't have much upper fullness, rather than something absurdly large, and he carefully looked at the distance between the breast pocket and my point of fullness, the tissue characteristics, and more, then recommended a size together with me. I liked that it wasn't overly large, and even though it must have been a hassle, he additionally showed and explained how it would feel if reduced further from the reference point / how it would feel if made a bit bigger. As for the incision site, since my conditions were good, either the inframammary fold or the underarm would be fine, so he said to choose freely. Overall, there was absolutely no feeling of exaggeration or pressure, and it was a thorough consultation that proceeded calmly and delicately all the way through, so I liked it. While waiting and before meeting the surgeon it might feel hectic, but the one-on-one consultation itself seems fine. The cost was just the average price I had already looked into.
