I’ll write honestly. Dr. Jinwoo is kind and does a very elegant side profile really well. I went because I was tempted by the photos, and I ended up trusting him enough to have the surgery because his personality was so nice too. In other words, it is very noticeable. Especially in the front-view photos in the reviews, there are some where everything looks somewhat triangular, and mine was especially severe, to the point that I heard gossip saying only my nostrils were visible from the front. Of course, some people, especially younger people, said my nose was really pretty, but older or more perceptive people could all tell I had had my nose done. If you have a small nose, remember that if you get a nose job, it will inevitably look obvious. Even if people don’t say anything in front of you, they all talk behind your back lol. There was also a scar, and when I went to another clinic, they said something at this level normally wouldn’t leave a scar. The photos (side view) came out pretty well, so I managed to live with it for a while, but because of the front view I started avoiding photos and the stress got so bad that I’m now looking into full removal. ———————— * Addendum I really wanted this to be my last surgery in life, so I read the doctor’s blog a lot and agonized over the choice… but now that I’m facing full removal, I feel so conflicted. Looking back at the review photos here, they are pretty, but they are obviously a surgically altered nose, so why did I think back then that it looked naturally pretty… I think my aesthetic sense changed because I kept looking at a community. Now that I’ve snapped back to a normal person’s perspective, I feel like the idea of a refined, pretty look is an illusion. Whenever I’m not feeling well, the tip of my nose weirdly turns red, so I went back after a long time, and even the doctor looked quite stuck… ㅠㅠ It was awkward on both sides, and it was hard to blame the doctor either, so I left after smiling it off, but it seems like he can’t give a clear solution when a problem comes up. It was really sad that this was the clinic where I wanted to lie down for the last time. And now that they say my nose looks natural, I deeply realized that the doctor’s sense of aesthetics and mine just don’t match. I’ve heard all sorts of things like, “Why does your nose look like that?” to the point that even someone as insensitive as me found it distressing… ㅜㅜ His personality is nice, that part is true, but I really regret choosing this clinic. By normal standards this is a flashy nose. I should have gone to an ultra-natural nose clinic, or just not gotten a nose job at all. I’ve started avoiding meeting people, so I want to get it removed and live comfortably.
