Summary 1. Mixed machine + hand-made 2. Skin protector used and unlimited scar management 3. The director consultation is top-tier 4. Much cheaper, at about half the price of expensive hospitals Why price matters is because I am a human with 40% body fat, so the extra charges at hospitals were ridiculously high.. haha; At first, there were multiple directors.. It's in Gangnam.. The interior also had this very new feel.. somehow like Cheondamdong.. so I got scared. Somehow the sentiment of "domestic = good" was strong for a person getting their first plastic surgery. It felt way too "Gangnam" for someone with no experience, you know.. so my expectations and willingness to actually have surgery dropped to near zero. Why I found out about this place: it wasn't from Babitalk or anything like that. When I was looking into fat grafting for the butt, there was a nice-looking review on this community that didn't feel like a broker review, and that person said they got surgery from the head director, so I think I put it on my list. I have no interest in fat grafting now, but if I had searched only for liposuction and not fat grafting, I don't think I would have gone to visit here. There were other more heavily mentioned famous hospitals, too.. Anyway, that random connection is how I ended up going for a fourth round of shopping around.. Compared with other hospitals I visited at first, the price was about 2 million won cheaper + if the result is good, I can pay 2 million, but would it really be worth 2 million??? because right now I'm basically broke..) + usually the advantage of those kinds of hospitals is that they make the incisions somewhere hidden, but personally I feel like today's liposuction scars disappear within two years anyway, so I kept thinking whether it's worth paying 2 million (a year ago I got a burn scar about the size of two fingernails on my hand from hot oil while working at McDonald's frying fries, but now it's faded to the point it's hard to find, so I had some trust in my skin, and I also saw YouTubers showing their lipo scars and most of them had already faded) + they do both machine and hand-made methods + the aftercare they provide is an absurdly higher level than other hospitals and the scar treatment is unlimited (I live far away, so this actually doesn't matter much, but the very fact that they take responsibility for a patient for more than six months feels kind of good to me, because once seromas last more than six months, the hospital usually has to keep hearing complaints and stay in contact, so the fact that they choose to do that gives a good impression.. because at another hospital, when I asked whether I could see photos of a scar area after more than a year, they said that after the radiofrequency care one month later, they never see the customers again so they don't have follow-up photos, which was a bit disappointing..) + it's in Gangnam so it's nice to come back for follow-up care when I'm just out and about + they only make two incisions in the front abdomen (another place in a similar price range made three, all the way up to the pubic area..ㅠ) + above all, it seemed like a factory-style hospital, but the surgery reviews on this community were generally okay, the reviews on Babitalk were okay, and the chat posts on Babitalk were okay too, and I kept being haunted by the question of whether these were real reviews or whether the hospital was just good at marketing because it's a large hospital, so I kept thinking about it.. sigh... so I went for one more consultation (at first I only talked with the head coordinator, not the director) When I first went shopping around at another hospital, I heard, "Your pelvis seems a bit misaligned?" I've lived almost 30 years and had never heard that + I had never felt anything like that when looking in the mirror, so I just took note of it, but it seemed important for liposuction.. So at the second hospital I asked first, "My pelvis is misaligned; will that be a problem ㅠ" and they answered kindly but briefly + the third hospital didn't mention pelvic misalignment. But here, the head director looked at my body and immediately said my navel was about 1 cm to the left of center, that my pelvis was twisted about 10 to 15 degrees, and that one side of the ribs was higher than the other, probably because of the habit of carrying a bag on one shoulder, and I just.. booked surgery for the earliest possible date because I couldn't take it anymore..; And because I had already learned the answers to most basic questions while researching liposuction, I asked some odd questions, and they answered in great detail with a PowerPoint-like deck made from conference presentation material. Also, I'm not interested in being bone-thin, bone-arm, bone-waist, bone-abs, etc., so I wanted the design to suit my taste a bit? I thought that for a hospital director at a big Gangnam hospital, he might say, 'You dare ask me to do surgery at this price and now you want to design it too? Get out, you ungrateful bratㅋㅋ' but not at all, he listened really well, even more than expensive hospitals.. of course we'll know once the results come out.. if I praise it this much and the result is disastrous, that would be sad too, but whatever. Among the hospitals I've visited, this was the best in terms of both price and consultation, and now I'm too exhausted to keep shopping around, so I'm going to do it here ㅠ I saw community reviews saying the operating room nurses have bad personalities, so I was nervous even when they told me to come after the blood test, but the nurse was really kind, so I felt relieved again. But I'm not sure whether that person was a nurse in the operating room. I don't know. I'm going to do it here.. I'll come back with a surgery review.. please take it into account (for what)
