I had partial-incision double eyelid surgery and epicanthoplasty (last year) + an additional revision epicanthoplasty (this summer), so I’ll list the combined cost of both surgeries. I’m not posting or showing photos. * But honestly, I don’t remember the exact amount for the first surgery very well. Anyway, it was in the mid-2 million won range + 1.6 million won for the revision epicanthoplasty. After the first surgery, recovery was really fast and the scar was not left as much as I expected! But to be honest, my impression did improve the first time, yet the epicanthoplasty was not enough, so I had it done one more time. There was an extra charge for the epicanthoplasty! I was a little disappointed that A/S was not available for dissatisfaction with the shape and they charged it as a revision surgery, but that’s the clinic’s policy :) Anyway, for a year after the first surgery I was able to rub my eyes without worry and go around comfortably, and I just made the epicanthoplasty look wider with makeup. * Even though I was not satisfied with the epicanthoplasty shape after the first surgery, the reason I paid a lot and had revision epicanthoplasty here was: the double-eyelid line and suturing were fantastic, and honestly I also knew it was my fault for not clearly saying what I wanted when I was deciding the line. So I thought I should just trust the place I believed in from the start and stay with them. As expected, recovery was really fast for the revision surgery too. Now it has healed naturally, like my own eyes. The Mongolian fold still comes down a bit, but I think that is the limit of my original eyes. (The director really does not leave much scar and only performs the minimum necessary surgery. If they had removed more of the epicanthus here, the scar could have been worse, and I also plan to have nose surgery, so I think they adjusted it to match the proportions. I haven’t even had the nose surgery yet, but I’m very satisfied!) These days my impression has become much better naturally, so I just go out without makeup. I’m someone who hates an artificial look, so I’m maximally satisfied personally. (I also sometimes hear that my eyes are attractive, which makes me happy haha.) I’ll use the reservation deposit receipt for the revision epicanthoplasty on 6/13 as proof instead; I wasn’t planning to post a review or anything, so I just threw it away•••! I heard this place is famous for noses, so I booked consultations with both Dr. Kim Se-young and Director Kim Jin-woo. If I end up getting it done here, I’ll leave another review. Conclusion: recovery time is very short, it’s more expensive than other hospitals, but if you think of it as the cost of safety to avoid side-effect worries, it’s not a bad price. If you want natural eyes, don’t overthink it and go with Dr. Kim Se-young.
