At first I was looking into hospitals because I thought I needed eye correction, and through a friend’s introduction I ended up being referred here. My first impression of the hospital was that it felt a bit like a cafe..? On the wall... I was only going to consult about my eyes, but while I was at it I thought I might as well ask about my nose too, and that was when I found out for the first time in my life that my nose is short... From then on, whenever I looked in the mirror, all I could see was how short my nose was, so I just decided to do both. After that, I booked quickly and had the surgery. People around me kept saying it really hurts, but it didn’t hurt for me at all. It’s been exactly 2 weeks now, and compared to right after surgery the swelling has gone down a lot, and I barely had any bruising from the beginning. You can definitely see that my impression looks sharper, and more than anything, I like that people around me keep saying I did really well. I still feel a little unfamiliar every time I look in the mirror, but I think I’ll get used to it once the swelling goes down more, so I’m kind of looking forward to waiting. For now, I really think it was a very good decision to have the surgery.
