I went because I heard it was extremely cheap, but I don’t think that’s really the case. There were a lot of people, but the wait time until treatment wasn’t long. When you visit, you select your personal information and the type of procedure you want on the tablet inside, then wait a bit, and a staff member walks around and explains everything once more. Then the manager consults with you at the desk, and the main points were: 1. Men getting square-jaw Botox should also get salivary gland Botox to see results. 2. There are three types of Botox: two domestic and one imported. Of the two domestic ones, one is cheap but more likely to cause resistance, while the other domestic one is relatively expensive but less likely to cause resistance. The imported Botox is much more expensive than the domestic ones, but it is also less likely to cause resistance. That was about it. For the cheap treatment option (in the 20,000 won range), it seems they use the cheapest domestic Botox and only do square-jaw Botox. I used the more expensive domestic Botox (in the 30,000 won range) and also had salivary gland Botox (in the 60,000 won range), so the total came out to over 100,000 won including VAT. After deciding on the procedure, they give you an ice pack, and you hold it on the area for about 5 minutes before going into the room with the procedure chair. After waiting on the chair for a bit, the doctor comes in, but there isn’t much consultation and I didn’t even know who it was, so it really felt like a factory-style clinic. The doctor showed me a brand-new Botox product that they had not opened personally, then did the procedure. In conclusion, I went because I heard you could get Botox for the low 20,000 won range, but once you listen to the manager’s explanation, you start to fear resistance and feel that square-jaw Botox alone won’t be enough, so you naturally end up paying additional costs. So for Botox procedures, this clinic doesn’t really seem to have an actual price advantage, so if you’re planning to go here just because it’s cheap, I’d think it over.
