I went into the director's office for the consultation, and there was an amazing smell, which was the first thing that felt kind of surprising. There was a warmth there that I hadn't felt at other hospitals, and I talked for a really long time. People kept asking so many questions that they just explained the surgery plan and set up a separate Q&A time. If you just want to understand your situation, I recommend going for a consultation.
