It's true that this is a lip-specialist clinic, so they're more professional and better than other places. But paying more doesn't mean you'll get pretty lips. Lip filler has clear limits depending on the shape of your own lips, so if your lips are already kind of awkward, no matter what you do they won't become the kind of lips you want. They didn't explain that part very well, which was disappointing. My lips didn't respond to it at all, and in reality only the volume got bigger; the lip shape itself didn't become prettier at all. It's my lips' fault, but if a place advertises itself as a lip filler specialist and charges a high price, I think they should clearly explain the parts that can't be achieved when the patient shows the lip photo they want. Instead, they just said they'd do it like the photo and proceeded, which was disappointing. Now I understand much more about the procedure and know the range of change possible with my lip condition, but back then I knew nothing and went expecting to just become pretty, so honestly it was just a waste of money. Find the lips in the before-and-after photos that are most similar to your own and expect only that much. Small, narrow lips have limits when it comes to changing them with filler.
