I totally agree with the comment below saying the consultation manager treats patients like nobodies. Just listening to patients well and empathizing is enough to pass the basic bar, but it was not great because they spoke in a slightly patronizing way. I think the consultation manager is exactly the one who can make a hospital that looked good after seeing the director lose its appeal. Out of all the places I visited, the manager was near the bottom, but there didn't seem to be much active pushing from the manager, so that was okay. The director carefully shapes the line and will accept whatever line the patient wants, even if they said it wouldn't suit me elsewhere. But I also want to know the director's opinion, so it would be nice if they would say no when something really isn't right, but they seem to just accept everything, which is also something I'm thinking about.
