A fresh review from two weeks after surgery First of all, my eyes are what people usually call extremely difficult eyes, so it was hard to succeed anywhere and I spent a lot of time researching and visiting clinics. What first drew me in was that even though they had just opened, the lead surgeon's price was low and reasonable. When I consulted, I really liked Dr. Kim Sang-il's attitude. Other hospitals tried to recommend as many procedures as possible, but Dr. Kim Sang-il said my eye-opening strength was good, so I didn't really need ptosis correction, and that I didn't need an epicanthoplasty, that an upper canthoplasty would be enough. He recommended the fewest procedures among the clinics I consulted, and the price was the best too. I could feel that he was genuinely serious about eyes, and I saw the real value of that in the operating room and after surgery. Among all the many procedures and surgeries I've had so far, he was the first doctor who focused so intensely on my eyes, and during the surgery it felt like only my eyes existed. There was no small talk from the staff at all, just the doctor and my eyes, the two of us. The stitching was so clean that the line is perfect and the swelling was minimal. The after-surgery part was amazing. I was satisfied, but when I went back to remove the stitches, he looked at my eyes in even more nano-level detail than I did. In other hospitals they would have just brushed it off as swelling, but after seeing the asymmetrical swelling, he immediately said that a little touch-up would make them the same, so I got a touch-up in week 2 and they became perfectly identical. There was even less swelling after the touch-up. Because my eyes were such difficult eyes, I prayed before surgery that I just wanted them to look normal, not even successful, but it was so clear that they would turn out beautiful that I'm happy. (Honestly, they still look so beautiful now.) My parents also say every time they look at my eyes, I did well and should have done it sooner haha. I've seen a lot of people go through a rough mental period after double eyelid surgery, but as expected, a hospital with good aftercare is the best. The doctor's surgical skill and character are top-tier! Thank you for being so considerate and attentive because I was from out of town.
