I went with absolutely zero expectations. At the time I didn’t have money, so I looked for a place on Gift Ticket that was running a lip filler event and went there. They were selling lip volume filler and lip corner filler separately. I only paid for the lip volume filler first, but while I was there during the consultation, I added the lip corner filler and changed the filler type too (it was just changed from domestic to the same domestic brand), which is how the final payment ended up like that. But during the consultation, they kept pushing chin Botox too much (I do have a dimple chin) and what was it, buccal fat Botox? They said I had some kind of shadow or sagging or wrinkling on both sides of my mouth (which I didn’t even have), and kept recommending that too, so it was hard to refuse... I came intending to add the lip corner filler, so I said okay to that (though I wasn’t planning to change the filler type...) but honestly, consultations are hardㅠ I regretted even getting oneㅠ I should’ve just gotten the procedure quickly and leftㅠ I have a hard time saying no... Anyway, separate from the consultation, I was happy with the procedure. Actually this was my 5th time in my life? I’ve gotten lip filler 5 times now, so I wasn’t even worried about pain, and when I showed the director a photo of the style I wanted, he explained the difference between the lips in the photo and my lips, and clearly told me why it couldn’t be done exactly the same structurally. I also just said, please make it as close to the photo style as possible~ (since I came here for an event in the first place, I had no expectations at all, so I was relaxed about it) But then, once the procedure started, it really went dab dab whoosh tap tap and finished! That’s the feeling I got (not a delicate, one-stitch-at-a-time kind of feeling) but the result was so much my style. Such a twist...? Of course, in the middle, they kept checking in with me in the mirror about whether to add more or not, basic stuff like that. But the hand technique during the procedure felt really brisk and decisive. I was a little surprised that the result was so satisfying compared with how light the hand movements felt. I felt like the director’s aesthetic sense matched mine. And while wrapping up, he said it’s better to get filler in small amounts more often because it looks natural and the retention is better too. I agreed with that too. So I thought I’d come back next time... but... I got the filler on May 4. Right now it’s July 3. The filler came out much faster than I expected. It had already lost volume way before now. No matter how domestic it was... No matter how quickly lip filler disappears... it really vanished way too fast. I started overthinking it. Even if I go there again and get imported filler, if you factor in everything (does choosing the director cost extra? how much is imported filler?) maybe it would be better to just get it somewhere else... at a better place I had in mind.
