I went in after waiting longer than my appointment time. While I was waiting, I sat on the sofa in front of the front desk, and the TV right in front of me kept playing surgery-related videos nonstop. With the screen that close, I had nowhere else to look, and it was so distracting and draining.. Personally, I think that was the worst part of this consultation. I told the manager that I was thinking about my jaw and cheekbones overall and wanted the consultation to go in that direction, and then I went in to see the doctor, but the explanation was way too vague.. I don't necessarily want my face to get smaller, I just wanted the proportions adjusted nicely and my face line cleaned up, but all of a sudden he put his hand on my face and said he could reduce my cheekbones by this much. So I said, "You can reduce them by that much?" and he said that was the maximum and that if I wanted, I could choose to reduce them less from there. I wondered whether reducing them that much would suit my face, but I didn't ask more about that and instead said I was also worried about a long midface and wanted to know if the chin tip would be okay too. But then he suddenly said that if the chin tip was reduced too, the long-face issue would get better.. Then he put his hand on my chin too and said the chin could be reduced by this much. My face isn't really long; my midface is long and I have a slightly recessed chin, so the diagnosis seemed to ignore that completely, and my trust in him dropped sharply. So I lost the desire to continue here any further, said okay, and ended the consultation. In fact, the consultation with the manager afterward was easier to understand and more organized than the one with the doctor. The manager responded so clearly and confidently (that's why I gave staff kindness 4 points), so I was a bit swayed, but in the end the surgery would be done by the doctor, so I have no intention of booking surgery.
