Hello, this is my consultation review for facial contouring, facial fat, and midface volume. The director kindly consulted with me, and when I explained the face I wanted and what I was worried about, the director explained the surgical plan accordingly. First, my concerns were a weak chin and a wide-looking face. For the front chin, they said there was no need to do length extension, and recommended T osteotomy to slightly refine the chin width and shape, then advance it by 5-6 mm. They said they would do secondary angle refinement after advancement. They said I didn’t need cheekbone surgery. If I wanted an optionally slimmer line, the square jaw makes the side frame look more pronounced, which can make the face look wider, so they selectively recommended square jaw surgery, masseter reduction, and cortical bone shaving. I also asked about facial fat and midface volume. Because the area with more fat was not the buccal fat area, they said buccal fat removal was unnecessary, and recommended Venus laser and liposuction, with liposuction of the double chin and cheek area. For midface volume, they said that if I had square jaw surgery, they could graft the shaved cortical bone to add volume. If I did not have square jaw surgery, fat grafting or an implant would be possible, and when I asked about the pros and cons of each, they answered that using my own bone would be the most natural.
