I had facial contouring surgery 7-8 years ago, and I've been eating well and living well ever since. The bone has healed well after the surgery. I worried a lot, so I went to other dental clinics and plastic surgery clinics and even had a CT scan, and the doctor's opinion was that there was nothing wrong and that the surgery had been done cleanly. That was my impression too. (It was nice that I could get a CT after the surgery) Safety is important, not just aesthetics. Aesthetically, my face overall feels more refined than before. I do have a slight regret about my cheekbones, but this is good enough. I do regret the 45-degree cheekbones a bit, but they were naturally reduced a little, so for now I'm satisfied. As for the square jaw, I asked to leave a slight angle by the area below the ears, but there is no angle. If you want an angle, it can sometimes appear depending on whether you chew squid ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ Right now I'm satisfied with my jaw too. If I had an angle, maybe it would have looked a bit wider from the front? I wonder, but anyway it's fine now. For the chin, I said I didn't want it too narrow and asked for only a small reduction, and that request was reflected. At first the swelling was so severe that it was emotionally hard, so I complained to the manager every day, and I don't know if that manager is still there, but I was really grateful. I think there was a manager named Jihyun? Someone natural was there. That might not even be the right name because it was so long ago and I can't remember the nameㅠ They treated me in a friendly, comfortable way, so I could ease my hard feelings a little. As a result, I don't have any pain after the surgery. For the first few years, whenever I chewed food or opened my mouth really wide, I heard some kind of joint sound or bone sound, and it was really depressing and hard, but strangely enough that has almost disappeared now, which is amazing. Maybe it was because of orthodontic treatment rather than contouring. I'm saying this because I got contouring almost immediately after my orthodontics ended, once my face turned into a peanut face. Anyway, now when I open my mouth wide or eat, that annoying sound is almost gone. Very occasionally, when I'm tired and open my mouth wide to eat, I hear it a little. For a few years I had a sensation around the cheekbone area like touching a cramped muscle spot, but I lived without worrying about it, and now that I think of it and touch it, it seems better. This also seems to have mostly gone away. If I push my lower lip out, a slight dimple appears in my chin. If I leave it alone, there isn't one. Sometimes people ask me why I have a dimple in my chin and say it's interesting.. Every time, I just pretend not to know ㅋㅋ The facility was a bit small, but I chose this place because I thought there wouldn't be any proxy surgery and it would be safe. The director, who carefully explained everything while moving the CT around in all directions, also gave me a sense of trust back then. I made a surgery reservation and went in on the scheduled date, but I had caught a cold at the time and was taking medicine, and my body wasn't in great shape. The director said it could be risky and told me to postpone the surgery first. If it had been a hospital obsessed with money, they would have gone ahead with the surgery regardless of whether I was at risk or not. Thank you, Director Noh Jong-hoon. I went back about a week later and had the surgery. The operating room doesn't look particularly good. There seemed to be blood on the vinyl covering or something like that. Still, the surgery itself was done safely and well. When I was hospitalized for one night, the director came by at night, looked at me, and left. I think he said it went well? I don't remember because it's been so long. The one-night hospitalization was hard. I think I vomited blood. My body is weak, so the nausea was severe and I coughed a lot. Was it about a month after the surgery? When I went for a follow-up and asked for the CT, they said the plate in the side cheekbone was fixed slightly diagonally, mentioned that as an unfortunate point, and said if I was worried they could open just that part a little and correct it. It was a bit much that they brought up that issue only after I asked for the CT. They should have told me in advance. After that, it was fixed again and ended up sturdy and fine. In conclusion: I don't have stress about my face shape!!! The line came out naturally, exactly the way I wanted. I asked for a Kim Tae-hee face shape back then. I'm not Kim Tae-hee, but Kim Tae-hee's face shape was exactly the face shape I wanted. I have no pain, I eat well, and my face shape is prettier than before, so I'm satisfied. The dimple at the tip of my chin and the slight regret about the 45-degree cheekbones... still, it's only a regret, I do like it too. It's just slightly smaller than my original look. The reason the doctor's kindness is 4 points is simply that he doesn't talk very much... He seemed calm. But it's not that he leaves out important things, just that he doesn't say unnecessary things. I remember he explained everything he needed to about the surgery. He's much, much better than a talkative doctor who can't operate, but after recovery, he only briefly greeted me before leaving, which felt a little disappointing? That's why it's 4 points. Anyway, the important thing is that I got the face shape I wanted without major side effects. Honestly, I wanted to go thank them at least once, but I've been too busy trying to make a living... I'd like to see them again someday. At the time I had the surgery, contouring surgery didn't seem as active as it is now, but looking back, I'm glad I had the surgery here then. These days, contouring surgery is advertised too casually, as if it's nothing, so it's easy to be lured in. Please research hospitals carefully and get your surgery safely.
