I had cheekbone reduction surgery two years ago, and I’m doing well now with no side effects. Until a few months ago, there was occasionally a clicking sound when I yawned widely, and it wasn’t to the point of being a big concern. But for sensitive people, it seems like something worth considering because there is definitely a possibility with cheekbone surgery, though I’m not sure whether it’s actually related to the surgery. Right now, even if I yawn very widely, there’s no sound and no problem. The doctor wasn’t particularly kind, but he explained the things I was curious about very carefully, and he felt like the kind of doctor who’s at a clinic if you go in with a cold, so I trusted him more. The manager also explained things thoroughly and kindly, emphasizing that this was a surgery that needed to be chosen carefully rather than promoting it for the hospital’s profit, which made me trust them more. Because of worries about surrogate surgery and the risks of surgery, I chose a place that was safe and skilled rather than looking at the price, so the results weren’t dramatic. I wanted it to be safe and natural, and I think they performed the surgery accordingly. Since it’s a one-doctor clinic, a guardian can accompany you right up to the operating room, and it was nice that the guardian could confirm when the doctor went in and came out. Considering the high cost, I was also satisfied with the aftercare, and more than anything, my life changed a lot before and after the surgery. I don’t mean that one surgery completely changed my life, but it changed my mindset toward life. In that sense, I’m very grateful to the doctor for performing the surgery safely. I’ve never personally expressed my thanks, but I wrote this at length hoping that the doctor will continue to be someone who safely and carefully performs surgeries that can be a small help to someone’s worries and life.
