First of all, the wait is long. I waited about 30 minutes, so it seems like you should plan for a total of 2 hours. The staff were all kind, and there were quite a few schedule changes before the consultation, but there were a lot of times they couldn’t do, and there were days when they only did surgery. I guess a hospital like this is common, but I was still relieved that they wouldn’t do something outrageous like operate first and then do the consultation. The hospital facilities seem top-tier among all the places I’ve been to.. I had a consultation with the director, and first of all, he was very kind. He explained things while looking at my CT images and my actual face, and explained the surgery methods too, but this was my very first outing for contour surgery, so I also lacked background knowledge. I thought he explained things in detail, but someone who has researched contour surgery a lot might think he explained less. He did tell me things like whether it would be fixed or not when I asked. I heard he prefers pinless surgery, and he also recommended pinless 2.5-type contouring for me. And I felt my cheekbones and square jaw were really severe, but he said it wasn’t that bad. And when I said I only wanted to shave off that much, he honestly told me that if that’s all I wanted, it would be better not to do it at all. So it did make me think about contour surgery again. Another thing I liked is that he seems to care about aesthetics. He asked whether I had any celebrity photos I brought, and said it wasn’t that he wanted to copy them exactly, but that he was trying to see the patient’s personal taste. The aftercare also seems fine (for up to 4 weeks, you go in every week for care), and I like that they have dantrolene and an anesthesiology specialist. Also, full CCTV access is available. One thing I was disappointed about was the line.. In my opinion, it felt a bit too flashy. It seemed like a doll-like line. Actually, that’s the most important part for me, so… I’ll probably think about it a lot more before deciding.
