I don't remember the doctor who did the surgery; it was about 5 years ago. I also don't remember the price very well. But they were way too casual, saying things like, “Oh, yes, no, that won’t work,” “Ah, it turned out well,” and so on, which rubbed me the wrong way. They seemed to be in their 50s, but maybe they looked younger, so that was why? Even with anesthesia during the surgery, it hurt like hell, and it hurt like hell afterward too. The swelling lasted a long time... I went in for a revision because my eye surgery had gone badly and I wanted to raise the crease and widen the canthus. I can't really tell whether the canthoplasty made much of a difference, but the crease is seriously extremely high, so my eyes look like sausage eyes. Even though it was done 5 years ago, people still think I had double eyelid surgery very recently. Still, I’m not 100% satisfied, but I’m just living with it for now. Without makeup, the high crease really looks greasy and stupid, but with makeup, because of the eyeliner and such, it’s not too bad. I’m getting by. It’s better than when my eyes were small. I’m too lazy to get another revision, but a major hospital seems like a place that does surgery in a fairly standard, reliable way.
