Dr. ㅈㅇ seems to have very firm personal aesthetic standards. They strongly said that the planned canthoplasty + eye correction had to be done, using rather intimidating language as if there were serious external defects. I visited nearly ten places, and aside from this clinic, most places said they could achieve the desired result even without canthoplasty. Not a single place said canthoplasty was essential rather than optional. I felt that my opinion and the direction I wanted were not being respected. If they had recommended canthoplasty while also considering my opinion or how the image would change, that would be one thing, but without any of that, I felt like they were recommending opening the corners too much. Rather than considering the original image or how the atmosphere might change, it seemed like they were judging whether additional surgery was needed according to a fixed, firm standard. Personally, I think surgery should consider facial harmony rather than mechanical measurements in order to lead to higher satisfaction... so it was very different from the direction I had in mind, and it was an unsatisfying consultation. The wait was long and the quote was on the expensive side. I remember the clinic interior itself being very clean and nice.
